We're breaking from this week's series to remind everyone that September 1 marks the opening of hunting season. I have linked a blog that I wrote last season as well as one with information on how to determine if you're hearing gun shots. Properly permitted hunters in designated areas can hunt on public and private land surrounding Paloma Creek and nearby areas. The gunshots can often be heard a couple of miles away on a cool day.

The picture is of me hunting in 40° with a compound bow for entertainment. Did you see me? 😉 For the record, I only shoot animals with cameras, but I love to target shoot.
